It happened around 8pm 11000 block of the Katy Freeway.
According to Houston police, a woman driving a white Nissan Maxima entered the exit ramp of the freeway, traveling in the wrong direction.
The car hit a motorcycle head-on. Police said the 58-year-old motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman in the car was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital with unknown injuries. Investigators said she faces intoxication manslaughter charges.
No names have been released and no additional details were available.
