It broke out around 4am on Shepherd at Pinemont inside the Extended Aftercare Incorporated, a drug and alcohol treatment center for veterans.
At least 12 veterans live there and made it out safely. They will sleep in the cafeteria temporarily.
No word yet on what caused the fire.
