It happened around 9:30pm at the KFC on FM 1960 and Stuebner Airline.
After the gunmen made their way into the restaurant, one of the employees pushed the silent alarm, which alerted authorities.
No one was hurt and it is not yet clear if the gunmen escaped with any cash. The suspects remain on the run.
