Sketches released of suspects in violent north Harris County sexual assault

HOUSTON

It happened back on August 18. According to investigators, the victim was walking along Veterans Memorial and Antoine between 9:30 and 10am when she was approached by two men in a white four-door Nissan.

Detectives say the man in the passenger's side got out and forced the woman into the back seat of the car. After driving around for a while, the suspects pulled onto the 100 block of Gillespie Road, which is where the victim was reportedly sexually assaulted.

Investigators say the woman's throat was then slashed and she was left for dead.

The suspects then took off in an unknown direction.

The driver of the vehicle is described as a Hispanic male, mid to late 20s, about 5 feet, 7 inches tall and of medium build. He was wearing a baseball cap.

The passenger is described as a Hispanic male, early 20s, about 5 feet, 2 inches tall and of slim build. Both suspects spoke Spanish with what is believed to be a Salvadoran accent.

Anyone with information on the identity and/or location of the suspects in this case should contact the HCSO's Special Victims Unit at 713-967-5743 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
