They participated in the Be the Match Walk and Run in Sugar Land this morning. The event raises funds to help find bone marrow matches for people with blood cancers like leukemia.
Organizers say about 70 percent of patients don't have matches with their families, so volunteers are needed to sign up for the Be the Match registry.
