Officials are planning a big renovation of Galleria 3. They say Macy's will consolidate into Galleria 4 and they will tear down Galleria 3 so that Saks 5th Avenue can build a 198,000 square foot flagship store. That will also allow four about 35 new retailers to set up shop in the Galleria.
Work is expected to begin in January.
