Charges have been filed against a man suspected in a deadly drunk driving collision that took the life of a Kingwood woman. The crash happened Sunday night -- on the same day the suspect was getting off of probation for a separate crime.

Police said Bram Mason Vickrey, 29, of League City, was just ending a four-year probation for a robbery he committed in 2009. But he allegedly committed another crime, and this one took a woman's life.

According to investigators, Vickrey was driving a Ford Explorer on Woodland Park around 6:30pm when he ran a stop sign at the intersection of Woodland Hills and struck a Honda Civic.

The driver of the car, 67-year-old Linda Kay Thurman, was killed at the scene.

Vickrey and his passenger were not injured in the crash. Police arrested Vickrey, and he is charged with intoxication manslaughter. Bond was set at $30,000 and he is due in court Tuesday.
