HFD was called to a home on Caddo at Woodwick at 10am. Firefighters searched the home and found a 70-year-old woman inside. She was taken to Hermann Hospital with serious injuries.
The fire was brought under control in about 20 minutes.
There's no word on what caused the fire. The Houston Arson Bureau is investigating.
