Thief cuts hole in roof to steal meds from Walgreens

HOUSTON

There is some visible damage left behind, but the Walgreens pharmacy on Crosstimbers at Irvington is open for business as usual.

Houston police say at around 4am Monday, a single suspect showed up at the Walgreens and somehow managed to cut a small hole in the roof of the building. He lowered himself down into the pharmacy and grabbed an undisclosed amount of medication.

Police are hoping surveillance video will help lead them to the suspect. He is said to have fled the scene in a black 2000 - 2009 Nissan Frontier. Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call police.
