Police chief ready for Trayvon Martin protests planned for Saturday

HOUSTON

One will take place in River Oaks. Houston's police chief says they'll be ready for the crowds that show up, and says he just wants to see an end to gun violence.

"I wish people would protest every single day about the amount of gun violence in this country, the amount of gun violence in this city and the amount of young men who die on a daily basis in this city from gun violence," said Houston Police Chief Charles McClelland.

A second protest will take place on Saturday outside Houston City Hall.
