Detectives: Suspects commit five robberies in 35 minutes in NE Harris County

HOUSTON

The suspects used a stolen maroon 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 truck bearing Texas license plate AX57592 to commit the robberies in northeast Harris County.

The spree began around 1:15pm at an apartment complex in the 13100 Woodforest and ended at 1:50pm at a cell phone store just a few blocks away.

In between, the suspects stole the truck, robbed another cell phone store on Highway 90 and North McCarty Road and a convenience store in the 12300 block of Beaumont Highway.

In some of the robberies, the suspects were armed with a pistol and shotgun, and took victims' cash and other belongings.

Both suspects are described as black men, 20 to 25 years old, about 6 feet tall and of slim build. In some robberies, they wore hoodies and blue gloves. In others, one wore a black shirt and red shorts and the other wore a white shirt and blue shorts.
