Police say he was driving along Windswept near Unity when he lost control near the bridge. The car flipped over and plunged about 30 feet down into a ditch.
The Houston Fire Department was able to rescue the man from the water. They took him to the hospital, but he died from his injuries.
The man's name has not been released. No one else was hurt in the accident.
