Winds helped fuel a grass fire Monday afternoon along Highway 6 in west Harris County.

It happened near Addicks Satsuma Road.

Several firefighters were called out to the scene. With the lack of rain, a lot of foliage in the area is dry and can add extra fuel to these kinds of fires.

Crews poured as much water as they could on the edges of the scorched ground, keeping the flames from spreading.

There is no word on what sparked the fire, and no structures were damaged.
