Rosenberg police say a man doused himself with lighter fluid and set himself on fire just after noon Friday. He ran down Leaman Street near 4th Street, where a passerby assisted the man in putting the flames out.
The man was flown to Hermann Hospital for treatment. His condition is not known.
A motive for the self-inflicted attack is not known. The man's identity has not bee released.
