But the number one healthiest place to live is the twin cities, Minneapolis and Saint Paul. Others include, Washington DC, Portland, Oregon, San Francisco, California and Denver, Colorado.
The least fit city on the list was Oklahoma City.
The study is from the American College of Sports Medicine and is based on a number of behaviors, including smoking, exercise, obesity rates, chronic health problems and access to health care. The study also looks at the environment, including availability to parks and farmers' markets.
There was no surprise that Austin ranked at number 11 on the list. Houston came in at 43, ahead of Dallas and San Antonio.
