Police say Esterrell Simpson, 18, is the suspect wearing a backpack in surveillance video first aired last week. Witnesses say Simpson lit Carlos Hernandez, 30, on fire after two other men beat and doused him with gasoline.
Simpson was arrested in Bridge City, Louisiana. The two other suspects in the case are still at large.
