A suspected robber was shot and killed in southwest Houston overnight after police say he picked the wrong target.

Police said a 19-year-old man and a friend met up with a group of men in the parking lot of a Domino's Pizza on South Gessner at West Brae Parkway around 9pm to conduct some business.

When the groups met up, the shooter claims the 19-year-old tried to rob him. He pulled his gun and fatally shot the man once in the head.

Police are still interviewing witnesses. It is unclear if the shooter will face charges.
