A jury found Askia Sabur not guilty of aggravated assault and resisting arrest.
Police alleged that a video taken at the scene showed officers restraining Sabur after he had attacked an officer, who was trying to clear him and his friends from a sidewalk.
Sabur told investigators police used excessive force and he had done nothing wrong.
A review of that tape showed that Sabur was telling the truth.
