Thirteen members of Charlie Company, 451st Civil Affairs Battalion received the "Welcome Home Warrior-Citizen" honor Saturday in recognition of their first deployment.
The Welcome Home Warrior-Citizen program honors citizen soldiers who answered the call of duty and recognizes them and their families for their dedication, service and sacrifice.
Each soldier received an encased American flag, a specially designed commemorative coin and lapel pin set for the soldier and spouse and a Welcome Home Warrior-Citizen flag.
Former Astro Roger Clemens was the guest speaker.
