Woman facing charges for allegedly beating, robbing disabled person

HOUSTON

The wheelchair-bound woman told police that on September 17 Zentia Antionette Robinson called her saying she left a prescription bottle filled with pills at the woman's apartment on East Tidwell Rd. The woman, who suffers from scoliosis, lupus and cerebral palsy, left her apartment to meet Robinson outside and hand her the pill bottle.

Court documents state the defendant then got out of her vehicle, grabbed the woman's wallet and began punching her in the face. Police say Robinson pulled the woman by her hair out of the wheelchair and onto the ground where she continued to assault her.

Officers noted in the police report that the woman had blood coming from her mouth and nose and her lips were swollen when they arrived.

Robinson, 22, is charged with aggravated robbery. She was arrested on Monday.
