It happened around midnight at the Sharon Park Apartments on Chimney Rock near Camino del Rey. Police say the men began arguing in the parking lot, when one man pulled out a gun and shot the other in the chest.
Security guards held down the suspect until police arrived. He was arrested.
The victim was transported to Ben Taub Hospital.
Neither of their names have not been released.
