According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, the store manager called for help, saying that two men were attempting to enter the manager's office, and one of the suspects was armed with a handgun.
The manager, along with other employees and customers, locked themselves in the office when the manager spotted the men entering the store. The two suspects reportedly demanded entry to the office and repeatedly beat and kicked the door to no avail. The suspects then fled the store empty-handed.
HCSO patrol deputies from District 4 station arrived within three minutes of the initial 911 call. Upon their arrival, two men were detained for questioning by investigators. Those two men have since been released.
Investigators are now reviewing the surveillance tape to gain information on the identity of the two suspects.
