One person is in custody after a bank robbery in northeast Harris County.

It happened around 4pm Friday at the Community Bank of Texas off F.M. 2100 near Huffman.

Harris County Sheriff's Office officials tell us the suspect used an improvised device that could possibly ignite. They say it wasn't sophisticated enough to be considered a bomb.

The suspect allegedly got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. Once a description of the suspect's vehicle was broadcasted, HCSO deputies and troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety were able to locate the suspect and arrest him.

No injuries were reported.
