Aldine ISD school bus involved in wreck

HOUSTON

Shortly after 3pm, the bus from Aldine ISD collided with a car on State Highway 249 at W. Montgomery. The car was heavily damaged, and the front end of the bus was damaged as well.

Aldine ISD spokesperson Mike McKinney confirmed the accident, but didn't have any further details at this time. Officials at the scene say there were 40 students from Eisenhower High School on the bus. No injuries have been reported on the bus, but a spokesperson for the school says some students may be checked out as a precaution.

There's no word on the condition of the driver of the car. Life Flight was called to the scene, as well as a ground ambulance.
