Thousands gather at GRB for Feast of Sharing

HOUSTON Volunteers served about 10,000 traditional meals at the George R. Brown Convention Center.

There was also live musical entertainment and a play area with Santa for the kids.

Social service organizations were on hand for those who need help with more meals or a warm place to stay this winter.

H-E-B cooks also prepared 1,000 additional meals to be boxed up and delivered to seniors who were unable to leave their homes.
