The Dallas Morning News reported that the dead were identified as Autumn Carey, her father Gerald Malone, and her new boyfriend, Adrian Jessie, who was visiting from Oklahoma.
Police were called to a home in DeSoto, a Dallas suburb, after hearing shots fired Friday morning. Officials said that, when no one answered the door, SWAT officers entered and found three dead and the gunman, Alonzo Henderson, who had shot himself.
Henderson remained in serious condition.
The newspaper reported that Malone's wife, Cheryl, ran out of the house with two or three children and took refuge in a neighbor's house.
