President Obama attending fundraiser in Hawaii

HONOLULU, HI

It comes the day after Obama used a news conference closing out an Asia-Pacific economic summit to push for action from a congressional supercommittee on deficits. The committee appears deadlocked heading into a Nov. 23 deadline and Obama says it looks like people are sticking with what he called "rigid positions" rather than solving the problems.

He also conceded that it may take a new Congress to pass his $447 billion jobs bill, which has been largely stalled by the GOP.
