Officers got a call about three men breaking into apartments at The Gables at Richmond apartment complex on Ocee and Pagewood in west Houston around 12:45am.
They say when they arrived, they found three men taking items from an upstairs apartment. Two got away in a car, but another took off on foot, a man police eventually caught up with and took into custody.
The thieves got away with items like cell phones and televisions.
Police say the men are responsible for at least two burglaries at the building.
