LCpl. Martin Komm of Humble was escorted home by the Southeast Texas Patriot Guard Riders.
People greeted him with signs, flags and balloons.
Komm says he knew something was happening, but he was shocked when he saw so many people there to support his service.
Komm will be home for three weeks, and then return to his base in California.
