Hit-and-run fatality remains unsolved

More than a year after the tragic death, a Houston mother is pleading for help to find the hit-and-run driver who killed her daughter.

Lauren Wallace, 19, was found dead in a grassy area near the East Freeway and Normandy on September 5, 2010.

Police believe she was hit by a dark-colored, 2003 to 2005 Toyota Camry.

On Saturday, her friends and family returned to the area to pass out flyers and hold signs asking for information about the crash.
