Man dives into moving Jeep after driver blacks out

ATLANTA, GA

The 26-year-old man stopped a car from possibly crashing when he jumped in the vehicle and took over the wheel from a man who was having a seizure.

Christopher Sanders says he blacked out on his way home from work last Thursday in Columbus, Georgia, near Atlanta.

Police later told him his Jeep Cherokee was weaving through fast-moving traffic and had slowed dangerously on a busy parkway before Perry came to the rescue.

With other cars whizzing past at about 65 mph, Perry parked his own vehicle and began running after Sanders' Jeep. He yanked open the passenger door, climbed in and guided the jeep into the guardrail.

Sanders is grateful Perry came to his aid, saying, "He risked his own life in the process."
