Two suspects wanted for convenience store robbery

FORT BEND COUNTY, TX

The incident happened at the Welcome Market convenience store in the 15000 block of Beechnut last Saturday.

Two men armed with shotguns entered the store, tried to steal money from the register while also stealing wallets and money from customers. Police say one victim was kicked and the other was hit in the head with the butt of the gun.

One of the suspects was wearing black pants, a black hoodie and a red bandana over his face. The second suspect was wearing gray shorts, a dark-colored shirt and had a dark-colored mask over his face.

One of the victims said he saw a black male waiting outside the store in what is believed to be the get-away vehicle, a blue four-door Ford Taurus.

Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers has posted a reward of up to $5,000 for any information leading to the arrest and filing of charges on the suspects responsible for this crime.
