Firefighters from Northwest Fire Department as well as the Little York and Champion departments responded.
By the time they arrived, the house was fully engulfed in flames. It was a total loss.
No one lived in the home that burned. The owner lives in another house on the property, which also contains a warehouse.
The owner claims he had rented out the warehouse to two men and evicted them earlier this week for failing to make their payments.
He believes the renters may have set the house on fire in retaliation.
No one was injured. The cause of the blaze is under investigation by the Harris County Fire Marshal's Office.
