Houston Zoo unveils redesigned cougar exhibit

HOUSTON

The zoo opened the revamped exhibit this weekend and it comes complete with a desert landscape, including cactuses and desert grass, and more height to give the cougars more room to climb.

There's also a cave area where zoo visitors can look at the cougars through laminated safety glass.

Zoo officials say the two cougars, named Haley and Rocky, love their new space.
