The man never made it back to the boat, authorities said.
Montgomery County Precinct 1 Lake Patrol combed the area for any sign of the man. Responders said they ended their search when it grew dark and the waters became rough.
Montgomery County officials reported a lot of activity on the lake this holiday weekend. Just Sunday, there were three capsized boats and two arrests for boating while intoxicated.
