Kingwood couple die in apparent murder-suicide

KINGWOOD, TX They were found in a home on Forest Springs near Creek Manor in Kingwood late last night. Neighbors called police when they heard screaming and gunshots coming from the house. Officers couldn't get in touch with anyone inside.

"They knocked on the door and got no answer. They tried the door and it was open, directly inside they found the body of a white male," said Mark Coleman with the Houston Police Department.

The woman's body was found in another room. Police say the man was the one who pulled the trigger. The identities of the man and woman have not been released.
