Young man found shot in neck in NE Houston

HOUSTON Police found the man laying outside a home on Rinn near Mayberry around 9:30pm last night. Neighbors called authorities after they reported hearing five shots fired.

Police are still trying to figure out the details surrounding the shooting, but say they did find a gun in a nearby ditch.

The victim was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition.
