Woman killed in wreck on Highway 290
HOUSTON
It happened near West Road around 2:30am. Deputies say a Chevy truck stopped in a moving lane of traffic and a woman slammed her SUV into the back of the truck. She died at the scene.
Two men inside the truck had to be cut out of their vehicle and they were both taken to the hospital. No word yet on their condition.
The crash is under investigation.
