An overnight fire sent a family running out of their home. The flames broke out around 2:30am inside a garage on Meadow Lake at Briarbook in west Houston. Firefighters say the flames burned the garage, including an SUV inside, and then spread to the house, waking up the family of five. Family members made it out safely. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
