An Austin man wanted for murder has been added to the Texas Top 10 Most Wanted list.

Alleged Texas Syndicate gang member John Junior Godinez Pesina III, 27, is wanted in connection with a murder in Austin on November 20, according to a Texas Department of Public Safety statement. Police are also seeking his 26-year-old girlfriend, Francesca Luna, in connection to the case.

Authorities believe the couple is together and say both have a violent criminal history.

Pesina was released from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice just 10 days before the murder for which he is being sought. He was in prison serving a five-year sentence for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Pesina replaces San Juanito Leyva, of San Antonio, on the Texas Top 10 Most Wanted list. Leyva was arrested in March.

Texas Crime Stoppers is offering a $7,500 cash reward for information leading to Pesina's arrest. Anyone with a tip regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-252-8477.
