Man fatally struck fixing car on shoulder of North Freeway
HOUSTON
Police say the crash happened around 2:15am Saturday morning on the I-45 at Airline. Investigators believe a driver was working on a car on the side of the road when a pickup truck hit the car and pushed it into oncoming traffic.
Investigators think at least two cars hit the man before traffic stopped. Police say he died at the scene.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
