Today's funeral will be near the university at Pilgrim Congregational Church on 3115 Blodgett. Services will begin at 11am.
Slain pregnant woman to be laid to rest today
HOUSTON
On Sunday, someone stabbed Leiah Jackson 22 times with a butcher knife, killing both her and her unborn child. The 27-year-old mother worked as an elementary school nurse's aide and was also taking night classes at Texas Southern University to get her graduate degree.
