Officer injured, three apprehended after police chase

HOUSTON It started on Highway 288 when officers tried to pull over a suspected drunk driver. Police say the driver led them to Brazoria County and ended up in a field. That's where three people jumped out and ran.

The officer who was after them crashed into a ditch and needed to be flown to the hospital. He's in stable condition.

Police caught all three suspects and say charges are pending.
