Police searching for suspect in fatal shooting

HOUSTON Herbert Goldsmith, 21, is charged with capital murder in a deadly shooting last Friday night. The victim, 29-year-old Christopher Jones, was found dead in the bedroom of a home on Galaxy in northeast Houston.

A second male victim, 27, was found in the kitchen, also suffering a gunshot wound, and was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
