Forbes ranked the the country's largest metropolitan areas using six criteria that can either cause or be caused by stress:
- High unemployment
- Long commute times
- Long work hours
- Limited access to health care
- Poor physical health
- Lack of exercise
Los Angeles takes the number two spot on the list, followed by Houston, then Tampa, Florida and Riverside, California.
Houstons placement on the list is credited to hard-working residents. Houstonians work the longest hours of any city ranked on the list. Unfortunately, many residents also lack health insurance.
