Lone Star College raises tuition costs

Students going to Lone Star College will have to pay more for classes this year. The system approved a student fee increase of $5 per credit hour this week. That means a 15-hour semester will now cost about $820.

The Lone Star College System is also looking at a less than one-cent tax increase. The system is facing a decrease in state funding.
