Help needy school kids during 'Operation Backpack'

HOUSTON ABC13 is teaming up with the YMCA for this back to school tradition. Last year, the drive collected more than 167,000 supplies. This year, we hope to top that number.

There's a drop-off location at our ABC13 studios on Bissonnet and Buffalo Speedway. We'll be accepting supplies at ABC13 until 6pm.

We're looking for things like backpacks and basic school supplies like pens, pencils, paper, and more.
