Shoplifting suspect reportedly drags officer

HOUSTON At around 1:30pm, a woman walked into a store located in the 20600 block of the North Freeway. According to Crime Stoppers, she walked around the store and removed several items from their hangers and hid them in her bag. She walked past all check out registers without attempting to pay for any of the items.

Two loss prevention officers reportedly approached the woman outside the store where she immediately got into a tan Dodge Caravan with another woman. One of the officers attempted to reach inside the van to stop the suspect from fleeing when she allegedly began to scratch at his arms. The suspect dragged the loss prevention officer a short distance as she was attempting to flee and almost hit the other one before leaving the parking lot. One of the officers was slightly injured.

The woman was captured on surveillance camera while she was walking around the store. She is described as a 40 to 45 year old white female. She is between 5'6" and 5'8" tall and weighs around 180 to 200 pounds. She has long straight brown hair.
