Real estate group buys former Astroworld property

HOUSTON The Mallick Group, a real estate and development firm in Fort Worth, has purchased the former site of Astroworld. The firm's owner says he purchased the property because of its great location, but right now has no immediate plans for development.

Astroworld shut down in October 2005 and the prime property has been vacant ever since.
