Galveston high school bans backpacks

GALVESTON, TX Galveston school district officials say Ball High School students brought water balloons and water guns to school yesterday. In an effort to stop the water fights, Galveston ISD has told Ball students they can't bring backpacks today.

If students bring backpacks, the bags will be put in the office. The school said students would be allowed to carry clear bags.
